Smile Makeovers
For people who are unhappy with their natural smile, or dental & mouth features.
For those who have serious dental issues & need a complete mouth rebuild.
What is a Smile Makeover?
A smile makeover, sometimes called a full mouth restoration or rebuild, is a carefully crafted combination of multiple dental procedures which can restore your teeth and smile, and can change your life.

Whether your desire for a smile makeover is for cosmetic purposes, or your mouth and teeth require a major repair job, our dentists Dr. Derek Carson and Dr. Mike Acasio, are uniquely qualified to provide the results you need or desire.
What are the Procedures in a Smile Makeover?
Porcelain Dental Veneers
Veneers are very thin pieces of tooth shaped porcelain which is custom made (in color and shape) by a dental laboratory for your mouth. The veneers are bonded to your front teeth. Read more about porcelain veneers here.
Composite Bondings
Composite bondings is a fancy term for a simple restoration of one or more teeth. A composite bonding can be a porcelain inlay, onlay, or composite fillings where dental materials are attached to your teeth. Porcelain crowns are a form of composite bonding. You can read more about composite bondings in our restoration pages here.
Tooth Implants
There are several different kinds of tooth implants. Dental implants, like shown above, is a combination of a screw-like device which is affixed into the jawbone with a custom-made tooth attached. There can be multiple implants which are called fixed bridges. Or even a full upper or lower set of teeth called All-on-X. Other permanent or removable solutions are dentures, which are known as false teeth. Learn more about implants here.
Teeth Whitening
Whether your teeth have become stained or discolored from food, smoking, age, smoking, beverages, or a loss of enamel, people are more apt to take notice at you when you have a nice set of pearly whites. It's the simplest procedure in a smile makeover, and one which we perform in the office every day for those whose teeth aren't bright white. Discover more about teeth whitening by clicking this link.
Where Do We Begin?
The first step is to have a free consultation with Dr. Derek or Dr. Mike. We need to evaluate your needs, desires, goals, and overall and dental health. We need to review with you your options and, importantly, treat any existing conditions which may affect a successful smile makeover. This includes a dental exam, x-rays and a simple or deep cleaning. If you have an infection, it must be treated.

As part of the consultation, once you indicate a desire to proceed, we will provide you a treatment plan, with a timeline and cost. You will need to consult with your insurance provider to determine how much they will cover and then work with our staff to make payment arrangements.

FYI, smile makeovers can be a lengthy process. They are not a quick fix.

During and after the procedure/s, it is important to practice good oral hygiene, make each scheduled dental appointment, and follow the dentist's instructions precisely.
